Après un premier boitier qui a connu un petit succès, DR ZĄBER lance une nouvelle campagne de financement participatif via Indiegogo pour le SENTRY 2.0, un nouveau boitier Mini-ITX au format HTPC. Et par rapport au premier modèle, les modifications sont très nombreuses et importantes. Assez pour qu'un possesseur du SENTRY 1.1 puisse craquer pour son remplaçant.
Une belle liste donc, qui s'attarde surtout sur les nouvelles compatibilités pour le stockage et le refroidissement. En fonction des besoins, et de la taille de la carte graphique si une carte est installée, les possibilités seront différentes. Et la marque le montre très bien avec de nombreux schémas qui indiquent ce qu'il est possible d'obtenir.
Prévu pour une livraison en décembre, le SENTRY 2.0 s'affiche à 260USD, avec un riser PCI-E 16x.

- - Transport package redesign for reduced shipping cost and packaging time.

- - Motherboard IO backplate mount update
- - PSU mount clearance improvements for IEC C14 connector
- - Online-only manual with instructions pointing to it on the package
- - Replaced white powder coating with Navy Grey option
- - All accessories will be black for production streamlining
- - Quad 2.5" brackets and PCI slot brackets not included anymore
- - Optimised air pocket above the GPU for its rigidity and increase in volume
