At Noctua, we pride ourselves with being completely committed to quality. Despite our aim to release our next-gen 140mm fans by the end of 2022, regrettably, in the past weeks it became clear that a further significant delay was necessary. We understand that many of you may feel frustrated by this news, but this decision was not made lightly, and extra delays are as frustrating for us as they are for you. Unfortunately, we ran into an unexpected production level issue that we need to investigate, address and then re-run accelerated lifetime tests that take several months to complete before we can ramp up production. All this is done to make sure that we can guarantee that the new fan, despite its ultra-tight tolerances, will have the same durability and longevity customers have come to expect from Noctua fans. Sadly, this also means that the new target ETA has been pushed back to Q4 2023, but diverging from our strict quality standards and rigorous verification processes in order to rush a product to the market is not an option for us. As always, we remain committed to quality above all else, so that when you do finally see our next-gen 140mm fans on the market, you can be completely sure that they will live up to the Noctua name.
