Le studio CD Projekt Red a profité de l'occasion pour réaffirmer sa position sur le développement de la version Next-Gen, le développement a été rapatrié en interne et l'absence de nouvelle date de sortie tient simplement au fait, que la nouvelle équipe, en charge du développement, n'a pas encore évalué l'ampleur de la tache à effectuer.
